Computer America line-up for the Week of July 16, 2012
Lineup for the week:
Monday ---------- Hour one: PlanOn. The world leader in scanning and printing solutions for the mobile professional introduces ScanStik, the world's smallest full page color scanner. Pen-sized, fast and easy to use, ScanStik is the most compact, sleek designed full page color scanner available on the market. It's perfect for scanning on the go, at work, home, or school - an "Office in a Pocket." Unlike other pen-sized scanners that only scan a line at a time, the light-weight ScanStik scans the whole page at once just like a flat-bed scanner, but without the bulk. For even more convenience, ScanStik also features a MicroSD memory slot that holds thousands of image scans from 150 to 600 dpi resolution in color or black and white.
Monday ---------- Hour two: RingCentral provides cloud computing based business phone systems designed for today's mobile and distributed business world. The RingCentral technology platform eliminates the need for expensive and technically complex on-premise legacy phone systems. By combining a hosted, multi-extension business phone system with advanced voice and fax functionality, RingCentral simplifies business communication for modern, flexible business environments.
Tuesday ---------- Hours one and two: Linux Show. Every third Tuesday of the month, we have an all Linux show! Joining Craig and Ben once again is Larry Bushey, the Creator and host of the "Going Linux Podcast."
Thursday ---------- Hours one and two: Join Greg Evans, the world's number one Security Expert and his friend Charles Tendell, a Certified Ethical Hacker as we explore the world of how to stay secure on the Internet and so much more!
Saturday ---------- Both hours: It's time for Bond... Ralph Bond joins Craig and Ben with computer news and special topics. For many years, Ralph was Intel's Consumer Education Director and he continues to be the voice of Intel for Computer America's Intel Digital Minute. Ralph is now with Autodesk and he is an official Computer America correspondent. Ralph joins Craig and Ben to talk about the special Technology News stories he selects. Join us!
