Computer America line-up for the week of 17 September, 2012

Lineup for the week:

Monday
----------
Hour one: Abine has created a subscription service called "Delete Me" that removes people's information from the web! For $99 per year, they will coordinate to remove all of your information from data-broker sites. It's a tremendous amount of work because each data broker site has a different procedure to remove personal information: phone calls, e-mails, faxes, and/or certified letters. And many times these companies require users to submit more personal information just to opt out.

Monday
----------
Hour two: Venstar.  ColorTouchT is a multi-functional, simple-to-use, richly featured, programmable touch screen thermostat that thinks it's a digital picture frame!  ColorTouch has customizable backgrounds, including the users' own photos, and more than a dozen preset themes, including holiday themes.  And that's just the start!

Tuesday
----------
Hours one and two: Linux Show.  Every third Tuesday of the month, we have an all Linux show!  Joining Craig and Ben once again is Larry Bushey, the Creator and host of the "Going Linux Podcast."

Wednesday
----------
Hour one: Scheduled Sennheiser. Audio specialist Sennheiser announced the launch of two headset lines optimized for Microsoft Lync. The Circle Series wired headsets and the DW Series wireless headsets have been optimized for Microsoft Lync to enhance productivity in busy working environments. The new headsets help enable organizations to leverage productivity advantages of a unified communications environment while providing comfort, voice clarity and premium sound quality for users!

Wednesday
----------
Hour two: Craig and Ben do Computer and Technology News and answer your computer questions!

Thursday
----------
Both Hours: Charles Tendell.  Charles is a Certified Ethical Hacker and one of our Computer America Correspondents!

Friday
----------
Both hours: Gene Steinberg, Apple aficionado and Mac guru joins us to talk all things Apple!  Tonight we discuss the iPhone 5, the new iTunes and the new iPods, all just recently introduced!

Saturday
----------
Both hours: It's our Linux Show today!  Linux continues to be an important operating system so we dedicate an entire show every month to the subject of Linux!  Join Larry Bushey, our Linux Correspondent.  Larry is the Host of the "Going Linux" podcast!  Today's topic is "What Microsoft's Secure Boot means for Linux."  If you have ANY questions or interest in Linux, THIS is the show you won't want to miss!
