2017 Seven Sisters Quilt Show

There was something for everyone there.  If you liked traditional quilts, if you liked art quilts, if you liked cats, dogs, horses, cows, outer space, even computers!

Here's a few of the 567 pictures I took today.

Went to the Seven Sisters Quilt Show in San Luis Obispo today.  This was their 10th year of the show.  They had over 300 quilts, plus textiles and miniature quilts (which I did not see this year).  The imagination and creativity was across the spectrum.  From the traditional to the modern and artsy, there was something for everyone.

I really liked this one, a quilt of the Starship Enterprise.  The details, hard to capture in fabric and thread, are spot on.  She even put the registration numbers under the primary hull on correctly.  Of all the quilts I saw today, I wish I could have brought this one home.
